About Huwaida Arraf

Born in Michigan to a union family, Huwaida Arraf is a dedicated mother of two and a federal civil rights attorney.

She has fought for Michiganders affected by the Flint Water Crisis, systemic violence, and voter disenfranchisement.

Committed to strengthening the bond between the University of Michigan, Michiganders at large, and our great State of Michigan, she aims to inspire future generations to give back to our local communities.
